DDP Puts the Spotlight on Kiran Centre

DDP puts the spotlight on Kiran Centre   Our AGM on 24 September 2008 was followed by an evening event at which the guest speaker was Sangeeta JK, founder and director of the Kiran Centre in Varanasi, India. Sangeeta gave a vivid description of the centre’s genesis and its current range of programmes for disabled children.
The evening was planned round Sangeeta’s partnership visit to London – an opportunity to review our work together and to introduce Kiran Centre to the UK’s leading inclusive theatre – Chickenshed and to local schools, St Mary Magdalene Academy and Grazebrook Primary with a view to building links.
