Lusophone DPOs Meet in Brazil

Lusophone DPOs meet in Brazil   Representatives of Disabled People’s Organisations from all Portuguese-speaking (lusophone) countries came to Santos in São Paulo State, Brazil to attend an international meeting on the dissemination and implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in September 2008 hosted by the state government.
DDP facilitated the participation of our African lusophone partners for whom the meeting was an important opportunity to share information and build alliances. See www.encontrolusofono.com
